Take A Front-Seat Approach To We Missed A Meeting by Mistah Marvel including Plot Summary, Introduction by Author And More! So, it's done! We Missed A Meeting is now come to full life and is ready to start the full process to publishing. This is one of the craziest feelings I've realistically ever had - crazier than standing on stage to host an event, and even crazier than releasing music. This is releasing and packaging a body of work that may literally change how people feel about the world they perceive, or even about themselves. For sure, We Missed A Meeting both as its writer and first reader has definitely put an impression on me so strong that it pushed me to continue writing it, even when I had no idea where the story was heading.
Now, for the first time, I will be releasing my first sample read to the first act, "They Chose You, Mr. Ferguson" online along with information about the prospect of publication and how you can support!

Catching Up Since Episode 004, Marvel Speaks On February Endeavors, Black Panther, OkayAfrica, and Gun Control.
InDaHouse Podcast is back. While a month off isn't bad, it has been some time since I've last been on the mic to "talk my shit again". Before I dive deep into episode 005's topics, I have to acknowledge that I was the good kind of busy in February and it's felt good to be able to make the moves I've made along the way. From speaking at the Sundial AMC in St. Petersburg for an advanced screening of Black Panther, to seeing Black Panther, to being in communication with hundreds of people preparing for the films release; to booking gigs, hosting a wedding, and seeing the release of my Florence Kasumba interview with OKayAfrica, it's all been relatively exciting. So, if you were wondering why things got a little quiet on my end, that's why.
It's Lent, Which Means The Time Has Come For Introspect and Discipline For Betterment. So, Mistah Marvel, what are you giving up for Lent?
No one asked me that question. In fact, it was a question that I asked myself late January, realizing that Ash Wednesday landed on the same day as Valentine's Day. Last year, I detailed some of my lenten sacrifices and why I find it important to do so at least once a year. Lent is the perfect time for this. It's the 40 days (not counting Sundays) before Easter Sunday and recreate the 40 days Jesus spent in the desert, being tempted by Satan and ultimately leading to his preparation for his ultimate sacrifice. Kasumba: "I hope everybody can say they have the feeling that they're being represented out there"2/14/2018 As we creep ever so much closer to the release of Black Panther, I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with German Ugandan actress, Florence Kasumba, who picks up with her role as Ayo in the film. We might remember Kasumba from Captain America: Civil War with her iconic introduction of the Dora Milaje with "Move, or you will be moved". Courtesy of OkayAfrica, our interview, spanning no longer than 25 minutes features insight to Black Panther's infectious excitement, which, according to Kasumba, was also felt on set. There's a new episode of In Da House Podcast available now, and you're going to have to listen to the hilarious and vivid story of what took place during my birthday this past January 12th, 2018. First of all, I turned 28 and its a blessing to be progressing, living, and enjoying my life. It's unbelievably enriching for me to continue doing what I'm doing right now. The story, though, has nothing to do with that, so let's skip some of the expository and get to the meat and potatoes.
With 2018 Off To An Explosive Start, It's A Good Time To Reintroduce Myself, As Will Be Heard On The Introductory Episode of In Da House Podcast.
I believe in the power of affirmations folks. What I've also learned over the last three years is that most of our most powerful affirmations have to be said aloud, using our voice. It's at that point that those affirmations, thoughts, and words become alive. Saying something aloud is giving it life. But for most of my time in my space of work as a creative, I've been keeping my best work secret, mainly to myself, or written on folded sheets of paper.
It's the easiest way to pat yourself on the back with a good idea, at the same time keeping your confidence - and that occasional humble brag to a minimum. It's OK to be humble, but it's also totally fine to recognize what you're fully capable of. So:
