Now Thirty Days Since Its Release, It's OK To Unpack Some Of We Missed A Meeting's Most Important Secrets, Facts, & Easter Eggs.So it's officially been more than 30 days since the release of We Missed A Meeting: They Chose You Mr. Ferguson. There is a lot of feedback coming in from social media! Commentary about the book being a page-turner, high in suspense, and a piece of fiction that lines up so well with real life occurrences and situations. While being a fiction, the story feels so ground-level that there is a lot of feedback lately about timeline and when this story takes place.
I'll address that in this blog! Hopefully in your reads, there have been some elements that stood out to you. Maybe it's a piece of dialogue, or something small that you noticed might have some bigger significance. As a heads up, this story goes really deep. Writing A Book Is A Project, But Writing A Story Is a Completely Different Project That Requires One Hell of A Process.
"If [Marvel] can write a book, then I know I can". I believe in you. I believe you. I believe in your journey to start writing your book, but more importantly I believe in your journey to finishing your book!
The completion of We Missed A Meeting was a beautiful thing, and the reward of knowing that the opening act of this story is now in the hands of so many people who will read, enjoy, share, and toss the book to the side is really what all of this is about. Obviously, we all hope to one day get to a J.K Rowling level, or a Stan Lee, or even an Ava Duvernay level with our published works, but the day-by-day enjoyment of seeing friends and online peers becoming fans is amazing.
For Readers of We Missed A Meeting, The Introduction to the Story Opens The Fiction Novel With A Lot Of Non-Fiction From True Life.We Missed A Meeting is doing a fantastic job at early circulation thus far. Orders are being pumped out, I am shipping out as many books as I can, and continuing to relish in the ambiance of the release of my first published book.
I keep telling myself that the first book should be the hardest, and that the process to completion should never be this difficult. From the developing of the storyline, to the endless revisions, rewritings, revisitation, and the often dangerous retelling of the story, We Missed A Meeting has really been probably one of my biggest creative challenges yet. Most people don't understand why, and even more people may never understand. In First Published Book, We Missed A Meeting, There Is A Relatively Vast Use of The N-Word, And It May Make Some Readers Uncomfortable.Alright, so We Missed A Meeting is officially out now and available on Amazon. By now, most people have probably received their copy if they're using Prime, or are currently awaiting their signed copies from me personally. But before you break the book's spine, there's something that is to be said about this piece, both in warning and in dismissal: there is use of the n-word all throughout the book. More importantly than the use of this very controversial word is the fact that I have no plan on altering this very key element from the text.
Count it up, folks. We Missed A Meeting: They Chose You, Mr. Ferguson is finally completed, and is now available for purchase on Amazon!

We Missed A Meeting is now come to full life and is ready to start the full process to publishing. This is releasing and packaging a body of work that may literally change how people feel about the world they perceive, or even about themselves. For sure, We Missed A Meeting both as its writer and first reader has definitely put an impression on me so strong that it pushed me to continue writing it, even when I had no idea where the story was heading.
