Here's A List Of Movies To Enjoy This October That Don't The Typical Halloween Line-Up.
If anybody knows me, they know that I live to watch a movie that's going to (possibly) raise the hairs on my arms. Since I was a kid, I've enjoyed watching movies that either question my sanity or make me ask myself: "What were you thinking watching that movie at this time of night".
But of course, over time, you kind of just get desensitized to the cheap thrills, bogus jump scares, and really live for some continuation and backstory. I enjoy watching scary movies that walk a fine line of "oh I've heard of that before" and forcing watchers to use the darkest sides of their imagination. Horror movies aren't what they used to be - no one can deny that - but there are still good movies to watch if you're looking to feel the fear this Halloween season. I've decided to put together a pretty solid list of movies for even entry-level horror movie watchers. Recently I've been introducing horror movies to close friends who have been totally against the idea (cough-cough: Chelsea). The following list goes from true or based on true documentaries to some of Hollywood's most timeless classic. Enjoy this list and see how many of these movies you can get through this October! The list is broken down into What's Real or Not, Cheap Thrills, Creep Factor to the Max, and Recovery Mode.

Writing A Book Is A Project, But Writing A Story Is a Completely Different Project That Requires One Hell of A Process.
"If [Marvel] can write a book, then I know I can". I believe in you. I believe you. I believe in your journey to start writing your book, but more importantly I believe in your journey to finishing your book!
The completion of We Missed A Meeting was a beautiful thing, and the reward of knowing that the opening act of this story is now in the hands of so many people who will read, enjoy, share, and toss the book to the side is really what all of this is about. Obviously, we all hope to one day get to a J.K Rowling level, or a Stan Lee, or even an Ava Duvernay level with our published works, but the day-by-day enjoyment of seeing friends and online peers becoming fans is amazing.
Take A Front-Seat Approach To We Missed A Meeting by Mistah Marvel including Plot Summary, Introduction by Author And More! So, it's done! We Missed A Meeting is now come to full life and is ready to start the full process to publishing. This is one of the craziest feelings I've realistically ever had - crazier than standing on stage to host an event, and even crazier than releasing music. This is releasing and packaging a body of work that may literally change how people feel about the world they perceive, or even about themselves. For sure, We Missed A Meeting both as its writer and first reader has definitely put an impression on me so strong that it pushed me to continue writing it, even when I had no idea where the story was heading.
Now, for the first time, I will be releasing my first sample read to the first act, "They Chose You, Mr. Ferguson" online along with information about the prospect of publication and how you can support!
"The Black Grasshopper", the second entry of Life In The Garden was posted to the MarvelTheWriter Wattpad page on October 30, 2016. A year after the original posting of "In the Garden with Lizard and Snake", I wanted it to be known that The Garden would be a collection of short stories, all intertwining various characters in the garden itself.
This particular story highlights the tale of the Grasshoppers' culture and rituals, and the journey Black Grasshopper takes following three years of struggling with his molting process. Rather than understanding what he can do to grow, he tries to find the source of the Garden's annual Great Gust so that no other grasshoppers might molt into adulthood. |
